Mr. Heli, also known outside Japan as Battle Chopper, took the Japanese arcades by storm in 1987, when IREM’s creative mojo was in full bloom. This quirky adventure invites you to guide a little orange chopper named Mr. Heli through many innovative stages.
You can fly through the stages, walk through the landscapes and use three different weapons with two levels of upgrade. You can also mine crystals and buy equipment to help you defeat the big bosses that are standing in your way.
The IREM Collection Volume 3 contains both Battle Chopper in its 1987 Arcade M-92 version and the 1989 PC Engine / Turbo Grafx version. The fascinating gameplay of these games has survived time and has become a unique masterpiece worthy of your love.
The 1992 Arcade Shoot ‘em up Mystic Riders takes you on a magical journey that’s a bit different from IREM’s usual dark and challenging shoot ‘em up style. This game was made by the same team that made the hilarious Daiku no Gensan (Hammering’ Harry), and it goes beyond the biomechanical nightmares of its counterparts.
You will play the roles of the two humorous and jovial characters, Mark and Zeal, and start your adventure, also coop, where you will fight giant turtles, ghosts, grim reapers, dragons and other magical creatures. Mystic Riders is a true gem in the shoot ‘em genre and a highly entertaining co-op experience, so don’t miss it!
Dragon Breed is a thrilling shooter with a big dragon named Bahamoot that you can ride into action. But don’t let the size fool you, because only your hero can take damage, while the dragon absorbs the damage from the countless enemies.
