During the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2024 edition showcase, Slow Bros. developer unveiled a fresh trailer for their captivating adventure game, Harold Halibut. The team eagerly anticipates its release in Early 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Additionally, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Harold Halibut embarked on its journey over a decade ago, with the team constructing real-world sets and puppets. Although Slow Bros. has not disclosed the exact release date, the end of Harold Halibut’s development is within reach.
The newly released trailer exemplifies the team’s dedication and hard work. Every physical object in Harold Halibut has been meticulously crafted with great care and craftsmanship. Earlier this year, Slow Bros. had the opportunity to showcase the game’s intricately detailed puppets and sets at The Museum of Design Zurich as part of the Game Design Today exhibit. Visitors were amazed to discover that these objects were all interactive within the video game.
In the near future, players will have the chance to immerse themselves in Harold’s daily life aboard a city-sized spaceship, stranded in an alien ocean. As Harold acquaints himself with his fellow ship inhabitants, he embarks on a quest to determine whether his true home lies on Earth, within the Fedora, or still awaits among the stars.
