Tall Story Games has just released the demo for their newest point & click pixel art adventure game, Heir of the Dog. This adventure will be released in 2025 on Steam and GOG.
Heir of the Dog takes inspiration from Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novel, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. In this game, players will embark on a hilarious journey through the dark streets and alleys of Victorian London.
Along the way, they will encounter talking lice, cannibalism, a secret society, and of course, lots of dogs. With its clever and sarcastic storytelling, Heir of the Dog follows the story of Cummerbund Bandersnatch, a bachelor and upper-class fool.
During a visit to his uncle’s laboratory, Bandersnatch stumbles upon an experimental formula that promises a “good time” to whoever drinks it. Tempted by the possibilities described in his uncle’s journal, he decides to take a sip and undergoes a monstrous transformation. From that moment on, his life will never be the same.
