Orten Was The Case, an indie adventure game developed by Oskar Thuresson, is set to launch on November 29th on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

In this single player detective/puzzle/adventure game, players will embark on a journey through a fictional mid 90’s Swedish metropolis suburb. Control Ziggy, a simple guy in his early teens who wakes up after a blackout and discovers he’s stuck in a time loop. Solve puzzles, find hidden passages, collect clues, and talk to the inhabitants of Orten to uncover the mysteries of this unique neighborhood.

Orten Was The Case Key Features:

Time Loop – Ziggy wakes up one day with a strange mark on his hand and no memory of the previous night. As he wanders through the familiar streets of his suburb, Orten, an explosion occurs, sending him back to where he started. He realizes he is trapped in a time loop.

Secrets hidden – Ziggy sets out on a mission to uncover the truth and save his city, despite having no shoes or memories. However, the more he investigates, the more he discovers that Orten is hiding many secrets. His neighbors become even stranger, and he must rely on his friends and his sharp mind.

Knowledge is Power – In order to progress in Orten, Ziggy must use the knowledge he gains from each repeated day. With each loop, he learns new information that helps him move the story forward. By collecting clues, taking notes, and understanding the timeline, he can change the future in just 12 minutes on a typical Sunday.

Hand-painted styleOrten Was The Case features a unique and beautiful art style, with hand-painted visuals and a 2.5D design. Exploring the town feels like stepping into a stunning and intriguing painting.
