“The Awakener: Forgotten Oath,” a 3D action roguelite game with a fantasy-inspired theme, has been officially released today on Steam by Taner Games and published by Gamera Games. During the first week, players can avail of a 10% discount on purchases.
In the game, players take on the role of an Awakener, chosen by the twelve gods of Therad, to fight monsters and demons from around the world in the Void Realm. Sacred relics, artifacts, and other items can be collected to empower players, and formidable gatekeeper bosses must be defeated to achieve ultimate victory.
The game offers three unique characters, each with their own styles and moves. Gerasso, the sword-and-shield warrior, specializes in defensive counterattacks, while Henrik, the nimble dual-sword wielder, has a higher attack frequency. Vanguard Sora wields a long spear and has an exclusive aerial combat style.
Players can tailor their character builds according to their unique traits, with different build choices offering varying combat experiences. By collecting soul crystals and various fragments, players can achieve permanent power-ups outside the dungeons. The game also provides players with a variety of weapon choices, each with additional effects that grant added advantages in battles.
