Bahnsen Knights is the third game in a series of visual novels that draw inspiration from early 20th century pulp fiction and ’80s home computer graphics. This game, available now on PC and macOS via Steam and GOG, explores the terrifying reality of mankind. On January 18, 2024, the apocalypse will also arrive on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
The story revolves around the Bahnsen Knights, a religious cult that spreads terror on the highways. Led by Toni, a former car salesman, they believe that hell is not beneath us but above. Driving Ford Sierras, they perform “route exorcisms” as they travel across the country.
You play as Boulder, an undercover agent infiltrating the cult to dismantle it from within. Your mission is twofold: to uncover the whereabouts of your missing partner, Cupra, and to gain the trust of the cult members without raising suspicion.
Through minigames, puzzles, and choice-based storylines, you will reveal the cryptic intentions of the cult and undermine their achievements. Be careful, as your choices may lead Boulder to either the solution or a gruesome demise.
Bahnsen Knights is a standalone story within the Pixel Pulps anthology.
