‘Ratopia‘ is a city-building survival game developed by Cassel Games that will be released on Steam as Early Access on November 6th.
Similar to Terraria and Minecraft, you control the character, the leader of the rats, to explore the world and construct a city. To aid in the city construction, you can issue commands to other rats. However, these rats require compensation in the form of wages, necessities, services, and infrastructures.
You can obtain the necessary funds through minting coins, taxes, and trade to establish a sustainable economy. Additionally, you must also defend against enemies and cope with natural disasters, which adds to the immersive experience. Ratopia combines strategic survival, sandbox, and city building simulation.
Currently, a demo version of the game with the newest update is available on Steam.
