Selecta Play, the global publisher and distributor, has unveiled the contents of the two special boxed editions of the highly acclaimed game Narita Boy. Developed by Studio Koba and published by Team17 Digital, these boxed editions will be released for PlayStation4 and Nintendo Switch in early 2024, exclusively in European retail stores.
Narita Boy is an immersive RetroVania adventure game that pays homage to the digital era of the 80s, capturing the essence of that time with its neo-retro aesthetic. Selecta Play has collaborated closely with Studio Koba and Team17 Digital to create these boxed editions, catering to the passionate retro gaming community.
The standard boxed edition will feature an exclusive artwork sleeve and will include a printed Narita Boy The Comic Book, which draws inspiration from the game’s captivating storyline. Additionally, it will contain a physical copy of the game itself.
For avid retro enthusiasts, there will also be a Narita Boy Collector’s Box. This special edition will encompass the Comic Book, a ‘Save the Arcade World’ pin badge, a sticker pack, the game’s soundtrack composed by Salvinski in a digipack, and a visually stunning artbook.
All of these items will be beautifully housed in a collector’s box designed in the style of a VHS tape. Both physical editions of Narita Boy will be made available for PlayStation4 and Nintendo Switch consoles, exclusively through select European retailers, starting from early 2024.
