No More Robots and Cheesemaster Games have announced the release of Spirittea, a rural life sim game that draws inspiration from the iconic life sim Stardew Valley and Studio Ghibli classic Spirited Away.
The game follows a writer who has moved to the countryside to find inspiration for their next novel but accidentally drinks from an old mystical teapot, causing the spirit world to overlap with their reality. Players will live day to day, finding local NPCs and spirits to help, and taking part in various hobbies, including bug catching and karaoke. The game is a life sim, management game, and detective game all in one.
Key Features:
- Solving the spirit’s problems: To help them remember, they’ll require various things like spicy noodles or finding their lost treasures. So, put on your problem-solving hat.
- Making friends with the locals: The townspeople have their own schedules, preferences, dislikes, and hobbies. From catching bugs to singing karaoke, there’s something for everyone.
- Managing the bathhouse: You’ll have to clean towels, gather wood for heating the baths, and seat the spirits with their friends for the ultimate bathing experience.
- Upgrading and decorating: The local shops offer a wide range of cool furniture and assistance in fixing up your house. Transform your new house into a cozy home.
Spirittea will be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on November 13 for $19.99 / £16.75 / €19.50.
